coffeeMy friend and I got into a lengthy discussion on this last night, so I'll pose the Q: to you Mindsayers n see what you come up with.
Here's the deal. Tomorrow you are going to spend an entire year on a desert island alone. All food and drink will be provided as well as a home. You can bring whatever a large suitcase can fit, BUT you can only bring 8 CD's of music (we thought 5 is too hard and 10 is too easy)...and that will be all you can listen to for the entire year on the island. To make it even more challenging, I am also adding the rule that no 'Best of' compilations are allowed either!
Now, let the selection process begin!
Here are my choices to give you some possible ideas:
1. Sade - Lovers Rock (my all time fave singer and I feel her best record)
2. Pink Martini - Sympathique (For my lounge moods)
3. Nirvana - Never mind ( cuz I'll miss Seattle and need to rock out now n then! )
4. Corrine Bailey Rae - Corrine Bailey Rae ( One of the few records that I love every song )
5. RUN DMC - Raising Hell (My Adidas, It's Tricky...nuff said.)
6. Saturday Night Fever - Soundtrack (I will bust a disco move if no ones watching..oh yes, I will!)
7. Beatles - Abbey Road ( I'm just too much of a fan to go w/o)
8. Portished - Dummy ( I will need this for all those cold, lonely and dark times I'll have)
